We loved the original Darksiders and after getting our hands on the sequel a couple weeks ago at E3 and checking out how the game will incorporate new RPG elements into the gameplay, we’re dying to get our hands on it again. Darksiders II‘s hybrid action/RPG style was enough to be our favorite RPG at E3 2012, and with THQ in quite a bit of financial trouble, we might not see a third game unless the company starts selling more games.
In the latest trailer for Darksiders II, THQ and Vigil have been able to produce a pretty epic live-action version of the upcoming sequel involving Death, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, that will hopefully help generate some hype to save the series. Darksiders II is set for release on August 14 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Check out the trailer below or our exclusive hands-on preview from E3 if you needed any more reason to pick up a copy.
