During the First Credits

The first set of credits start with action scenes from the game showing individual cars doing crazy stunts with the developer’s names being displayed as the scenes are paused.

After the First Credits

There is an very important extra live-action scene after the first set of credits of Twisted Metal. Check out more details and spoilers below.

The extra scene reveals that Sweet Tooth left his son alive while killing the rest of his family. His son explains that Sweet Tooth left him alive so that he could help him in the future. Sweet Tooth’s son then digs up his father’s grave, takes his clown mask, and proclaims that Calypso killed his father and one day he’ll be strong enough to return the favor. After putting on his father’s mask, he then takes a canister of gasoline, lights his own head on fire, and drives away in Sweet Tooth’s ice cream truck.

The second set of credits for Twisted Metal are in the standard format with a concrete road as a background and no other extras.

Once the credits finish rolling there is a message that “Sweet Tooth will return in the fight of his life” and the “You think this game made itself? trophy for watching the credits from start to finish is awarded.

There is then another extra live-action scene showing Calypso throwing a small sack into Sweet Tooth’s dug up grave. He throws the sack into the grave and a female version of Sweet Tooth emerges. The girl Sweet Tooth turns out to be Sophie Kane, Marcus Kane aka Sweet Tooth’s daughter who Sweet Tooth was buried alive with after she killed herself. Calypso welcomes her back and asks her if she’s ready to play. The “So Much Anger” trophy is then unlocking for discovering the secret of Sophie Kane.

After the extra live-action scenes there is one more group of scenes showing items that have been unlocked like the Laser Pistol and Warthog. As the game officially comes to an end Calypso gives his trademark line “I am Calypso, and I thank you for playing Twisted Metal.”
