One of my favorite games to play on my PlayStation 2 was the original SSX or Snowboard Supercross. It was a very simple arcade-style snowboarding game that was all about getting as much air as possible, putting together the craziest trick combos, and trying to rack up more points than your friends. Now with 10 years passed since the release of the original, the SSX series is coming back for the current generation of consoles under the name SSX: Deadly Descents.
The trailer looks impressive, but it’s very short and all pre-rendered cinematic scenes, so as of right now the game could go either way. Hopefully EA is serious about bringing the series back in all its glory, but only time will tell as we wait for official gameplay trailers to debut. Check out the HD trailer for SSX: Deadly Descents below.
