During the Credits

During the first two and a half minutes of the credits of Pacific Rim, there’s a montage of all the polished models of the Jaegers and Kaijus doing battle. After this there is a brief extra scene that lasts about 20 seconds. Check out the link below for a description of the scene.

Show Full Details (Warning: Spoilers!) »

The scene they cut back to occurs after the kaiju “baby” died in Hong Kong. After what appears to be another “birthing”, it’s actually Hannibal Chau who emerges from the kaiju by cutting himself through the skin of the beast with his butterfly knife. He then angrily asks, “Where is my GODDAMN shoe?”

After the Credits

At the end of the credits of Pacific Rim there is a sound of a kaiju roaring, then a dedication to Ray Harryhausen and Ishiro Honda.

    Extra during the credits

    • http://MediaStinger.com/ Paul Curtin

Can you give more details without spoilers?

  • Spozeets

Yikes very difficult for me not to spoil it, it was a great little add on humorous scene before the main credits start rolling

  • postlude

In addition to the extra scene, there are graphics of people in the
suits they wear while piloting the Jaeger robots shown during the first
    part of the credits.

Immediately after that is the extra scene.

There are no more stingers after the credits.

** Spoiler Alert: Description of bonus scene follows **

    ———-

Hannibal Chau is shown cutting through the Kaiju and emerging from inside. He asks where his shoe is.

  • Dee

Extras during and Stinger halfway through credits; Stylized images of Jaeger Bots, Kaijus, and both engaged in “artistic battle”. Stinger: Humorous scene well worth the wait. No other stingers after credits end.

  • hotdog

there’s a montage of all the polished models of the Jaegers and Kaijus in a sequence similar to the ending credits of “the avengers.” then there’s a quick scene of Hannibal Chau (Ron Pearlman) who cuts himself out of the baby Kaiju that ate him earlier in the film. he comes out and demands “where is my shoe?” (he has on some really flashy, blingy shoes throughout the film)

there are no stingers at the very end of the credits

edit: “Now where is my GODDAMN shoe?” Forgot whether he says “now” though
