The guys over at Bethesda have been working on a new first-person shooter called Brink. They claim that Brink is going to revolutionize the FPS genre and if the game itself turns out anywhere near as awesome as their latest cinematic trailer from the 2010 Game Developers Conference, then they might be right.
Brink’s key gameplay feature is what they’re calling S.M.A.R.T. (Smooth Movement Across Random Terrain) which works similar to the free running in Mirror’s Edge. However, unlike Mirror’s Edge, Brink focuses on multiplayer and looks to feature gameplay similar to the Team Fortress series. Brink is set for release in Fall 2010.
