It’s been rumored since the first game launched back in 2014… and now it’s official, Titanfall is getting a sequel… and coming to PlayStation 4!
The once-exclusive Microsoft game was one of the best reasons to own an Xbox One and an even better reason to have a gaming PC capable of powering Titans, but sadly, despite thrilling mech battles and epic wall-running combat the hype for Respawn Entertainment’s cure for first-person shooter fatigue quickly died down shortly after the game’s launch.
With Titanfall being the ex-Call of Duty dev’s first title since leaving Infinity Ward, the hype train for continuation of the franchise is already taking off now that there’s no need for console-exclusive fanboys to fight and sword-wielding Titans being teased.
While no release date was announced, June 12 (the first day of E3 2016) has been listed as the game’s worldwide reveal. So you can bet the game will be shown off at Sony’s end of day PlayStation showcase. Get ready Xbox, PC, and now even PS4 gamers, it’s time to prepare for more Titanfall.
