Good news for those of you who have been counting down the days until the release of The Darkness 2 ever since it was delayed back in October — you only have two weeks left! To help re-introduce the game’s lead, Jackie Estacado, after his four year absence from the gaming scene, 2K Games has just released the official launch trailer for the upcoming sequel.
For those still unfamiliar with the series: The original was based on a comic book series and one of the most unique and enjoyable games released during the early days of the Xbox 360 back in 2007. The launch trailer doesn’t go into much detail, so check out our in-depth preview from E3 2011 if you still want to know more after watching the trailer below. The Darkness 2 is set for release on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on February 7, 2012.
