Two years later, as Logan is waiting in the line of a security checkpoint, he watches an advertisement for Trask Industries (the company known for launching the Sentinels) on a monitor overhead. When he reaches the metal detector, he requests for a pat-down instead. Logan then notices magnetic disturbances (such as coins floating, keys rattling, etc.) around the nearby imaging machine. He quickly turns around with his fist raised and his claws out (bones only and still missing adamantium), but his attack is stopped mid-swing by the mutant power of Magneto (Ian McKellan), standing directly behind him in line and in civilian clothes. Straining, Logan asks Magneto, “What do you want?” Magneto replies, “There are dark forces… new forces, building a weapon that could bring about an end of our talent… I want your help.” Logan, still straining in mid-swing, asks, “Why would I trust you?” Magneto says, “You wouldn’t”, and releases Logan from his grip. Logan then notices that everybody else around them is completely still, marking the entrance of Professor X (Patrick Stewart). As he navigates through the crowd in his motorized wheelchair, he says, “Hello, Logan.” Wolverine asks, “How is this possible?” because Professor X had died during X-Men: The Last Stand. Professor X replies, “As I told you a long time ago, you’re not the only one with gifts.” Logan stares back at Professor X for a while, turns around to look at Magneto, then turns back around at Professor X.

    10 minutes of credits.

  • Aditya Nugraha

    Shoot?! 10 minutes?

    • http://moviestinger.com Vinnie Leduc

Actually, the entire film is 126 minutes, and the 2-minute extra scene starts 1.5 minutes into the credits, so you can say the movie itself is about 120 minutes. This info, along with the full details and dialogue from the stinger, has just been updated.

      MINOR SPOILER:

My question is… how did Magneto stop Logan’s attack in this scene when his claws don’t have adamantium on them anymore?

      END SPOILER.

What a great set-up to merge X-Men: First Class and the rest of the X-Men movies for next year’s Days of Future Past. Gotta be one of the top 3 stingers of the year, up there with Fast & Furious 6 and The Hangover: Part III!

        Wolverine’s bones still have adamantium

  • Daniel

You guys should reference your own site for the stinger in X-Men 3.

      How so?

      • Daniel

Well it would be a spoiler for me to say it here, since the info is hidden in spoilers above. But unless your saying this character doesn’t explain to Wolverine specifically why the character is alive, we, the audience, already would know based on X-men 3.

Spoilers are fine in the comments section, just make sure that you start the spoilers with some type of warning such as “***SPOILERS***” to give people warning before they jump right into reading your comment and have it ruined for them.

except the scene after X3 doesn’t explain why he would look like himself

          • Daniel

Obviously you haven’t read mediastinger’s X-men Last Stand page.

  • Jeremy Baugh

Thankfully you don’t have to sit through 10 min of credits… it starts shortly after the credits start rolling. I got goosebumps and smiled from ear to ear… the X-Men franchise is about to explode once again! This stinger was better than ANY of the Marvel movie stingers to date. Absolutely amazing.

Enjoyed the film but not enough Mutant on Mutant action.

  • DailyDose

Low Budget shoot em up fight em up movie. Reminded me of the Transporter. Absolutely retarded plot with an Asian as the hot damsel in distress. Are we just going to forget Wolverine lost the metal on his claws? Probably…

    • Devin87

low budget? are you really that dumb? what’s wrong with a hot Asian? many Asian women are hot. Also, I don’t understand your comment about the metal on his claws. If its about the stinger then, Logan never lost the metal on his arms, magneto would easily hold his arm back with that.

So, why would he still be in a wheel chair? his brother just happened to be also
    wheelchair bound?
