Spider-Man After the Credits of Avengers: Age of Ultron?

Impressive Fake-Looking Trailer Surfaces Teasing Cameo

Update: The creators of the video have revealed the making of the prank on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2FWJgKMbFQ

A little over a week ago we heard from both director Joss Whedon and Marvel studio head Kevin Feige that we would be getting no extra scene after the credits of Avengers: Age of Ultron. But with Marvel’s history, we remained skeptical and still held out hope that something could change at the last minute, just like what we saw happen with the first Avengers film.

Today, a poor-quality video surfaced on YouTube claiming to be the “Avengers Age of Ultron After Credits Scene” and supposedly leaked from a Spanish screening. In the video we get a good look at Spider-Man in a very Spidey-like scene that would fit perfectly after the credits of Age of Ultron and setup his big entrance into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the upcoming Civil War story.

Considering how well made the comical clip is, it’s easy to believe this could be real… however, upon closer inspection, it seems more like a brilliantly made fan film using a backdrop from previous Avengers films and previous Spider-Man footage (which looks an awful lot like the Universal Studios ride) that doesn’t perfectly blend together and using the window column to hide this.

Even if this clip is in fact fake, can we all just agree that it’s awesome and pretend that it is what plays after the credits of Avengers: Age of Ultron when it releases in theaters on May 1, 2015? Because it’s awesome and exactly what Marvel should have done (if they’re not).
