Remember Me at Gamescom 2012

Capcom Returns to Gamescom After a Year of Silence with New Footage

August 14, 2012 by

DONTNOD’s upcoming futuristic cyberpunk IP “ADRIFT” created a little bit of buzz by asking “What if you could buy or sell your own memories?” at last year’s Gamescom, but since then we haven’t seen or heard anything about it. Today, Gamescom 2012 attendees got a big surprise as Capcom revealed that French developer DONTNOD’s “ADRIFT” is now being called “Remember Me” and finally release some footage of the gameplay and an awesome new trailer.

As you can see in the trailer below, Remember Me will be a third person action adventure game where players will assume the role of Nilin, an elite memory hunter with the ability to steal and change the memories of people’s minds that she breaks into. After having her own memory erased, she’ll begin her own journey to reclaim her identity and discover how she can change the world.

Remember Me is now set for release in May 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
