While the second film might not have been as good, most would agree that the original Men in Black was easily one of the best sci-fi films of the late ’90s that everybody could enjoy. The summer of 1997 was invaded and taken over by the film’s success, and it seemed like everywhere you went people were wearing Ray-Ban sunglasses and Will Smith’s “Men In Black” theme song was playing on the radio.
After a full decade since the last film in the series, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are back and suiting up once more to save the world from the extraterrestrial. Judging by the trailer the latest looks to pick up right where the original left off by delivering the same formula that worked so well in previous films and with Smith and Jones looking almost identical to how they did ten years ago. The film also features Josh Brolin doing a spot-on impersonation of a young version of Jones’ character, Agent K. Men in Black 3 is set for release May 25, 2012, in 3D; check out the official HD trailer below.
