After the credits there is an additional loading screen which then takes players back to the main menu. Like when progressing through previous chapters of the game, the main menu’s background shows Max’s current status. Check out more details and spoilers below.

The scene displayed behind the main menu shows Max sitting at a table drinking alone and enjoying his vacation on the beach which is where the final scene of the game ends off right before the credits begin to roll.
