FromSoftware Reveals Their Next Game ‘Elden Ring’ from George R.R. Martin at E3 2019

Looks like fans will have to wait a little longer for that Bloodborne 2 announcement.

While fans of FromSoftware didn’t get a Bloodborne 2 announcement at this year’s E3, we did get a new game reveal from the Japanese developer called Elden Ring.

While not much is known about the game with just a short 2-minute cinematic trailer, Elden Ring is said to be based on Dark Souls, but with more open and vast environments that will allow for a different style of combat and more exploration than any other FromSoft game.

But Elden Ring isn’t a Souls prequel or sequel and instead a brand new world created by the same team of developers and with the help of Game of Thrones/Song of Ice and Fire‘s creator, George R. R. Martin.

Bandai Namco hasn’t announced an official release date for Elden Ring, but have confirmed that when it does launch it will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
