Fallout 4 – Launch Trailer

The latest Fallout is almost here... whether or not you're ready for it.

November 5, 2015 by

It’s crazy to think that Fallout 4 was only just announced back in June at Bethesda’s first ever E3 showcase. For years, fans have been begging for a new Fallout game, and after only five months since its big announcement, Bethesda is making good on their word and releasing the next installment in the series. Whether or not you’re ready for it, Fallout 4 is set for launch in less than a week.

In Fallout 4, the player begins as a parent and spouse in 2075, but then must enter Vault 111 to survive the nuclear apocalypse of 2077. The player becomes the last remaining survivor of Vault 111 as he/she emerges into the nuclear wasteland in 2277, amidst the ruins of the city of Boston.

As teased in the trailers, Fallout 4 will be the first time that the player can pick between a male or female protagonist. The latest in the franchise will also be introducing a new dog companion and base-building mechanics that put more emphasis than ever on scavenging items.

There’s even a functioning Pip-Boy that comes with collectors editions — which might be one of the most useful gimmicky add-ons ever, allowing gamers lucky enough to get their hands on one to have a real V.A.T.S. system on their wrist via the new free mobile app that’s available for everyone.

Fallout 4 will be available worldwide for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on Tuesday, November 10th.
