During the Credits

The credits of Despicable Me feature interactive scenes through the use of Best Buy’s new Movie Mode application, which will translate the dialog between the minions during the first three minutes of the credits. Text “MINION” to 332211 to get the mobile application. More information on the Minionator app here. Most of the extra scenes, like various ones of minions competing to see who can reach further toward the audience, take advantage of the 3D format. One of these scenes results in the destruction of the projection room, leading to the final extra scene. This features a minion making shadow puppets, including one of Gru, until Gru himself shows up, scares the minion away, and laughs.
