There is an extra scene during the credits of The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Sue is shown four years later reading a children’s book to a young Franklin on the couch in their living room. She gets up to get another book to read and when she returns to Franklin in the living room she’s greeted by Doctor Doom holding his mask and kneeling in front of Franklin. As Franklin reaches towards Doom’s face the scene cuts to black with the text, “The Fantastic Four will return in Avengers Doomsday.”

In the extra scene after the credits, a television is shown playing the cartoon intro for the old Fantastic Four show from the ’60s. Once the intro ends, H.E.R.B.I.E. the robot can be heard beeping as he turns off the TV.
