Have you been waiting years for Blizzard to finally release a StarCraft MMO? Well… keep waiting. But to make that wait easier, Ryan “Creation” Winzen and his team have just released a new raid trailer for the StarCraft 2 mod that looks and plays very similar to a StarCraft MMO with elements from World of Warcraft. While the mod will require a copy of StarCraft 2 and won’t be a full MMO, it looks so good that if it were alpha footage from an upcoming MMO by Blizzard, fanboys would be going wild. Based on the footage, StarCraft Universe: Chronicles of Fate looks to be one of the most impressive mods of all time and the gameplay footage below is worth a watch. SCU is set for release after Blizzard’s official sequel to SC2, StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, is released later next year.
