2011 might have been the greatest year ever for gamers, but that’s not stopping developers and 2012 looks to give last year a run for its money. In a bit of a cop-out we’re going to give our Most Anticipated award to two games, one for most anticipated singleplayer and one for multiplayer. BioShock Infinite‘s gameplay demo that we were shown at E3 still has us recovering from having our minds blown and was the easy pick for our Most Anticipated of 2012. But with the next BioShock not having a multiplayer component, Starhawk looks to take up the most of our time in 2012 (after beating BioShock) with its innovative multiplayer style that looks to take what the original did so well to the next level, and we can’t wait to start dropping buildings on opponents’ heads. Winner(s): BioShock Infinite (singleplayer) and Starhawk (multiplayer).
