Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Multiplayer Trailer

High Moon Gives a First Look at Online Gameplay

July 25, 2012 by

Due to its solid singleplayer and multiplayer modes which offered an experience unlike anything before it, High Moon Studio’s Transformers: War for Cybertron was a great game. And it would have been an amazing game if not for some issues dealing with host migration and limited customization. High Moon obviously realized where their last Cybertron game was flawed and have greatly transformed the multiplayer experience in an effort to make their franchise as big of a hit as the movies.

We got a chance to check out Fall of Cybertron at E3 last month, but unfortunately, High Moon wasn’t showing off or talking about multiplayer then. Based on what we’ve already seen of the singleplayer and this latest trailer, Fall of Cybertron‘s multi looks like High Moon is doing almost everything right. However, I say “almost” because Fall of Cybertron‘s multiplayer seems as if it will only feature two of the four multiplayer modes from WFC. Hopefully, I’m wrong about this because the bomb-planting/CTF mode “Countdown to Extinction” was personally my favorite, and it doesn’t look like High Moon have included it as a playable mode in their ten new multiplayer maps.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is set for release on August 21, 2012, for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
