    Now that i have seen the new film, my friends and i have come to believe that the new movie takes place after the first film but before the second one. i wont spoil the film for you but if you put all of it together, it makes sense. many people have said that this film is not very good but i believe it is due to the fact that many people do not understand where the plot fits in.

    The order is the 1st film, 2nd, 4th, 5th and then the 3rd because Han dies in Tokyo drift. And the 5th is definitely after the 4th because it carrys straight on with them getting Dom off the prison truck.
