Just like last year leading up to the release of Avengers: Infinity War, Epic Games and Marvel are once again joining forces for a limited time Thanos-themed event in Fortnite.
But unlike last year where players had to find and equip the Infinity Gauntlet to become Thanos and gain access to his super powers, this year, Epic is introducing a new team-based mode.
Instead of Thanos vs. All, this year’s new ‘Snap Royale’ mode pits Team Thanos and his army of Chitauri aliens against a team of heroes who can unlock Thor’s Stormbreaker Axe, Captain America’s Shield, and Hawkeye’s Bow.
Team Thanos’ goal is to find all of the Infinity Stones to power up Thanos and prevent Team Hero from respawning while the team of heroes must eliminate all 99 of the Chitauri before this happens.
Snap Royale is available to download and play for free right now in Fortnite while Avengers: Endgame hits theaters this weekend.
