The extra scenes depict Nick, Lou, Jacob, and Adam, Jr., messing around in the hot tub and going to various times and altering or exploiting historic events and famous people. These include the four’s appearance at the signing of the Declaration of Independence; Adam stopping the assassination of Abraham Lincoln; the four taking a selfie with Lincoln; Adam forgetting his phone in the 1800s; Nick admitting that he fed gum to a dinosaur; Jacob bragging that he slept with Marilyn Monroe; Nick and Adam replacing the Wright Brothers as the inventors of the airplane; Adam’s poor attempt at the “You look like…” insult game; the four’s discussion about how difficult it was to explain time travel to Albert Einstein; Nick behind Martin Luther King, Jr., at his “I Have A Dream” speech; the four as the Beatles and laughing at Lou as Ringo; Nick as the creator of the Sony “Strutman” cassette player; Jacob replacing Steve Jobs as the creator of the iPhone; Lou replacing Richard Simmons in Disco Sweat; the four as CBS news correspondents on 59 Minutes; Adam replacing Neil Armstrong on the moon and then stating that it was actually a soundstage; Mike Tyson biting Nick’s ear (and with Lou as the ref); Nick as Michael Jordon in the 1988 NBA Slam Dunk Contest; and Jacob choking Lou when he can’t handle one more rendition of the “Nerd” song directed at him.
