Like previous God of War games, there are extra scenes from throughout the game shown alongside the credits of God of War: Chains of Olympus.
After the Credits (spoilers)
There is an extra scene showing Kratos unconscious and falling from the sun chariot, but suddenly being stopped before hitting the ground. Kratos ends up landing on the cliffs that he is shown jumping from in the original God of War. Athena and Helios approach him and praise him for his work, then remove the Sun Shield and the Gauntlet of Zeus from his hands. As they depart through the gate to Olympus, Helios suggests on helping further. Athena replies by saying, “He’ll live. They must.” Kratos is left lying unconscious at the cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea.
